A Short, But Sweet Update
Hello, everyone!
We attended the Toronto regional FIRST Robotics competition this past weekend, with our bot (endearingly named) Lift-E.
There were a lot of good teams out there (especially 1114, they’re ranked around best in the world), and everyone gave it their all.
The SpartanDroids were able to make it to the Quarter Finals, before being eliminated.
For a first time, that went pretty well.
At the competition, we were able to approach veteran teams, and received some helpful advice on fundraising & overall organization.
These new experiences & skills will help us when we return to Toronto next year, to take the gold!

Robot Safety Stuff

It’s Alive… Kind of.
Our robot is coming to life! Our team has already compiled code for the manual control of the bot, and are now working on an autopilot.
Our engineering team is skillfully designing the circuits that will fill our bot with oomph.
The manufacturing team is building a mock arena to test our bot’s ability and perfect our design.
Also, we’re getting team shirts soon!
